Surface Design

Surface design adds a whole new element to ceramics.

 

In this course we were introduced to various techniques like sgraffito, mocha diffusion, impressions, slip trailing, paper resist, feathering, marbling, wax resist, under-glazing, shellac resist and transfer printing that can be used to enhance the surfaces of the ceramic pieces.
